Florence Arts and Museums builds community through public programming and collaboration. FAM promotes education, preservation, and public dialogue through four primary sites in conjunction with community partners. Through programs, collections, and events, we encourage visitors to learn, discover, and share. FAM aims to sustain bonds between art, history, people, and places.

Dedicate 20 hours minimum per year to FAM. Volunteer at our sites, programs, or events.
Help promote FAM online and with friends.

In return for dedicating your time, you’ll receive FAM merchandise and a 10% gift shop discount.

A $60 yearly Membership fee grants your family access to some extra perks!
Receive free admission for 4 to all FAM sites, 10% off camp registration, AND a 10% gift shop discount.

In return for your Advocacy, you’ll receive Free FAM merchandise!

With your $40 yearly Membership fee you will become a Patron of Florence Arts & Museums. Member fees help to support our on-going projects and programs.
With your Membership, you will receive Free Admission for 2 to all FAM sites and a 10% gift shop discount.

With a $25 per year Membership fee you can be a Kennedy-Douglass Volunteer - the original Volunteer group for the KD Art Center.
The KD Volunteers support art in education within our community.
As a member, you’ll receive free admission for ONE to all FAM sites.

Those who make a $500+ donation to FAM will become a Sustainer.
Sustainers are an integral support to everything that happens at FAM. Specifically, Sustainer support will help to sponsor our internship program.
As a Sustainer, you will receive free admission for 4 to all FAM sites, a 20% gift shop discount, and annual public recognition.

Friends of FAM is a group whose purpose is to support Florence Arts and Museums through promotion, awareness, and fundraising. It is a part of the Kennedy-Douglass Art Center Volunteers, a 501c3 non-profit organization.

Florence Arts and Museums has a budget of allocated funds from the City of Florence, which pays for building maintenance, staff salaries, and utilities. Donations to Friends of FAM go to support three functions:
Paying facilitators for leading workshops, programs, or camps
Providing scholarships for FAM interns
Purchasing supplies for workshops, programs, events, and camps.

You can join Friends of FAM as an advocate, and help promote FAM and FAM events, or as a volunteer, and help with programs, workshops, and events.

To qualify for the organizational membership, your organization must meet the following criteria:
Be a 501c3 non-profit
Have an educational mission, or
Have a mission aligned with Florence Arts and Museums.

FAMily Members will be emailed a notice and a discount code when on-line registration opens for FAMily members.
