Florence Arts and Museums (FAM) is seeking proposals from local artists for a small temporary mural located at the Kennedy-Douglass Art Center.

FAM’s goal is to provide emerging artists with a platform to share their work with the community. We seek to encourage learning, experimentation, and discovery, while bringing people together through the sharing of ideas and artistry.

We are hoping this project will expand the local art culture by unlocking similar projects within the Florence Arts and Museums system and throughout Florence and adjoining cities. Our mission through this project is to refresh and promote the arts through partnership with the community, and encourage involvement by expanding opportunities for artistic expression.
